Galungan and Kuningan Day in Skoebi-do; Learning Balinese Culture

This wees is a special week as Hindus people celebrate Galungan day as their holy day. It holds twice in a year every six months which is followed by Kuningan day in the next week after.  Skoebi-do itself only open on Monday and Friday and to fill this short week, we did something special with the kids. It was introducing the Balinese tradition to them. Together we made canang sari and gebogan; explained what it was first, then what we need and how to make it. Not only that, but Skoebid-do Childcare also let them see how Balinese people do the offering and where. We visited our small temple in our area and let them see how Balinese people pray. It was super fun and full of new experiences for them.

Rahajeng Nyanggra Rahina Galungan.
